Last Day

Today was the last day or Artios for the year. In some way I am glad for it to be over, but I'll miss the kids and the fun there. I'm glad Kathryn is driving so it will be easier for her to get together with and see her friends over the summer.

Yet another Lindsey picture. I appreciate Lindsey and her photo taking. Without it I doubt I'd get this good of an insight into Kathryn's day. It's tough looking at the photographic evidence and dealing with the fact I have such a reclusive and restrained child and she has such similar friends. *cough* *cough*

Lots of things coming up on the books over the next few days/weeks. Tomorrow I have to finish getting as many of my extra/used curriculum ready as I can to go in the used curriculum sale coming up this Friday. Thursday is faculty preview of senior projects and afterward we are hopefully going to be going to a car auction to find Kathryn a car (provided we can purchase since we aren't used car dealers). In among this I need to:

• Be getting packed and ready to go on our 20th anniversary trip.
• Finishing up the accommodations request with the college boards (I finally got Kathryn's updated diagnosis - Huzzah!).
• Filling out paper work for a former scout's award.
• Finding and getting some inventory into my booth.
• Getting some yard work done - it's been too rainy to do much.
• Writing up class evaluations/grades.
• Conquering Mount Laundry.
• Make sure tickets are purchased for various events.
• Etc., etc., etc.
  

Hmmmm, I guess there never really is a "last day" for moms huh? Alas, I'll just have to settle for a trip with the hubby. :-)
